P.J. Daniels was picked with the 132nd overall selection in the 4th round of the 2006 NFL Draft, which was one of the Ravens' 4 compensatory picks...Daniels was the 2nd player in franchise history to be tabbed out of Georgia Tech - LB Ron Rogers, 6th round (154th overall) in 1998...His college teammate, S Dawan Landry, was drafted by the Ravens in the 5th round by Baltimore in 2006.

Two-time All-ACC tailback (1st team in 2003 and 2nd-team in 2005), who finished his career as the 4th-leading rusher in Georgia Tech history...Daniels is a former college walk-on who earned a scholarship following the 2002 season...Finished his career ranked 3rd in Georgia Tech history with 23 rushing TDs...Finished his career with 3,912 all-purpose yards, ranking him 5th on the Yellow Jackets' list...Also ranks 2nd in school history with 16 100-yard rushing games...Saw action in 44 games, starting 29 at Tech, and finished with 3,340 yards rushing on 707 carries (4.7 avg.)...Also pulled in 56 passes for 369 yards and 3 TDs in his college career...Daniels added 11 KO returns for 234 yards, with a long of 59 for Georgia Tech...Earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference 1st-team honors as a sophomore when he led the ACC and had the 4th-best season in school history with 1,447 rushing yards on 283 carries (5.1 avg.) and a career-high 10 TDs...Daniels also pulled in 19 passes for 88 yards and 1 TD as a sophomore.

College Career:

2005: Earned 2nd-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors as a senior...Started 10 games and amassed 1,104 all-purpose yards, averaging 100.4 yards per game, good for 5th in the conference...Led the team with 198 carries for 930 yards and 3 TDs and finished as Tech's 3rd-leading receiver with 21 receptions for 174 yards...Was 2nd in the ACC with 84.6 rushing yards per game...Only fumbled the ball 1 time in 219 carries...Ran for over 100 yards in 6 games, including the 1st 3 contests of the season... Capped his career with 109 yards versus Utah in the Emerald Bowl, his 3rd-straight 100-yard bowl game.

2004: Played in 8 games, starting 7 as a junior...Gained 727 all-purpose yards and scored 54 points...Rushed for over 100 yards in 4 games, as he averaged 89.2 rushing yards per game and carried the ball 154 times for 714 yards and 8 TDs...Also pulled in 11 receptions for 50 yards and a TD...Daniels also threw a pass for 13 yards and a TD...Opened the season with 169 yards rushing and 193 all-purpose yards against Samford; scored 3 TDs on runs of 46 yards and 1 yard and a 25-yard reception...Finished 2004 with a 119-yard effort in Tech's win over Syracuse in the Champs Sports Bowl, scoring 2 TDs against the Orange and also caught 4 passes. 2003: Named to the All-ACC 1st-team and gained 1,535 all-purpose yards, the 9th-best season total in school history, and ran for over 100 yards in 6 games...Became the 3rd Yellow Jacket to lead the league in rushing (Jerry Mays - 1989 and Rovert Lavette - 1982) as he rushed for a career-high 1,447 yards (5.1 avg.) and 10 TDs as a sophomore...His 1,447 yards rank 4th in ACC history...He also finished 4th on the squad with 19 receptions for 88 yards and a TD...Averaged 22 carries per game, setting a Tech record with 283 attempts...Put an exclamation point on his season with 307 yards rushing and 4 TDs, which ranks as the 3rd-best rushing performance in school history...Daniels' effort also ranks as the 3rd-best rushing day in ACC history and set an NCAA record for rushing yards in a bowl game...Also tied the Tech record with 4 TDs, as he was named to ESPN.com's "All-Bowl" team.

2002: Played for Georgia Tech without a scholarship...Was awarded a scholarship following the season... Posted 546 all-purpose yards as a sophomore...Finished as Tech's 4th-leading rusher with 255 yards with 2 TDs on 72 carries (3.5 avg.)...Also pulled in 5 receptions for 57 yards (11.4 avg.) and returned 11 KOs for 234 yards (21.3 avg.) as a redshirt freshman...Named ACC Rookie of the Week for his performance in Tech's win over Virginia when he rushed for 95 yards on 21 carries against the Cavaliers, including a 1-yard TD run, while catching 2 passes for 17 yards.

2001: Redshirted after making the team as a walk-on.
