Owen Kratz was named Executive Chairman on October 1, 2006. He has served as the Company's Chairman of the Board since May 1998. He was Chief Executive Officer from 1997 until October 2006. Mr. Kratz was the President of the Company from 1993 to 1998, and Chief Operating Officer from 1990 to 1998. He has been a director since 1990. Mr. Kratz joined the Company in 1984 and has held various offshore positions, including SAT diving supervisor, and management responsibility for client relations, marketing and estimating. From 1982 to 1983, Mr. Kratz was the owner of an independent marine construction company operating in the Bay of Campeche. Prior to 1982, he was a supervisor for various international diving companies and a SAT diver in the North Sea. |
