Otello R. Sturino is the chief administrative officer of State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), the investment management arm of State Street Corporation. He is responsible for the global human resources, information technology, finance, investment operations divisions and SSgA Canada.
Prior to his appointment in SSgA, Mr. Sturino was director of operations in State Street's relationship management group. In this capacity he was responsible for developing and overseeing implementation of the cross-divisional and cross-functional global solutions required for serving large and complex relationships. Between the years 2000 and 2004 while in the U.S., Mr. Sturino headed cash optimization and was division head for State Street's worldwide end-to-end cash processing services.
Mr. Sturino joined State Street in 1990, serving in the Toronto office as head of operations and client services for the Investor Services business area. He relocated to London in 1992 to lead the Investor Services client services group. In 1994, Mr. Sturino relocated to Boston to become the area leader of operations within State Street's Global Markets.
Mr. Sturino holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in economics from York University, Toronto, Canada.
