Dr Sangüeza is board-certified in clinical and anatomic pathology and dermatopathology. He received his medical degree from Universidad Literaria de Valencia, Valencia, Spain. He completed residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland, Oregon. He completed fellowships in dermatopathology at New York University Medical Center and Oregon Health Sciences University and a service of dermatology fellowship at Provincial Hospital Valencia. Dr Sangüeza is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Society of Dermatopathology, Colegio Ibero-latino-Americano de Dermatología, and the American Society of Dermatopathology.
