Oded Har-Even serves as Managing Director of the firm s international joint venture (ZAG/S&W LLP) with the Israeli law firm Zysman Aharoni Gayer & Co. Mr. Har-Even s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, and securities matters in both domestic and transborder transactions. He specializes in counseling Israeli companies traded in the U.S. on financings and ongoing corporate governance, disclosure and compliance matters. He also guides and assists Israeli start up companies in their various legal needs while establishing presence in the U.S. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Har-Even was an associate in the New York office of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, where he represented numerous foreign companies in their U.S. securities and corporate transactions. Mr. Har-Even has a record of assisting Israeli companies in forming alliances with Chinese counterparts, and of acting for Chinese companies in their efforts to enter the U.S. public markets. Additionally, Mr. Har-Even has been involved in various real estate transactions acting on both legal and financial matters. Prior to his arrival to the United States, Mr. Har-Even worked for an Israeli private equity firm and a leading Israeli law firm. Mr. Har-Even has been involved in various public interest activities in Israel and NY, one of which was his participation in a mock trial regarding the right to education for low-income families, which took place during the annual meeting of the National Council for Volunteering of the Israeli Prime Minister s Office. Mr. Har-Even served as a Captain in the Israeli Defense Forces.
