Norval L. Bruce has served as the Vice Chairman and Chief Credit Officer for Imperial Capital Bancorp, Inc. and the Bank since June of 1999. He was previously President and Chief Operating Officer of the Bank from October 1997 to June 1999, and previously was the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of the Bank from 1990 to October 1997. Mr. Bruce was appointed a director of the Bank and Imperial Capital Bancorp, Inc. in January 1997 and September 1997, respectively. From 1988 to 1989, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Security Pacific Bank, Nevada. He was previously employed by Security Pacific Bank from 1965 to 1988 in a variety of positions including management positions in which he was responsible for both loan origination and credit quality. Mr. Bruce has an Associates of Arts degree from Clark College of Vancouver Washington, and attended the University of Washington where he studied economics and engineering. He is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University and he has completed the Executive Program in Management from the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. |
