Norman Morgan serves as Executive Vice President in the firm's Atlanta, Georgia office. Prior to joining DHR International, he was a management consultant. Previous experience includes executive positions at Fortune 100 and Inc. 500 companies in financial services (insurance, healthcare, investment banking, mortgage banking) plus early experience in chemicals and manufacturing. Positions held include Division Vice President & COO, Executive Committee, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing, Division Manager, Risk Management Committee, Major Claims Committee, Regional Sales Manager. Additionally, he served on the Board of Directors of two companies.Mr. Morgan recruited, trained, developed and actively managed high-performance organizations, successfully handled turnaround situations, created and introduced new products, participated in venture capital presentations, and performed evaluation, analysis and negotiations to buy and to sell companies. Mr. Morgan received his BS from the University of Kentucky. Post-graduate on-going education includes numerous MBA course books, professional seminars and conferences on management, marketing and finance. Additionally, Mr. Morgan participated in sports car racing as crew chief, chassis engineer and driving coach for teams that won five SCCA national championships. He also managed race strategy and pit activity for teams at the Daytona Rolex 24 Hour and Sebring 12 Hour sports car endurance races. Other sporting interests include skiing, jogging and golf. He was assistant coach for little league baseball and youth soccer teams of his son and daughter. Mr. Morgan has served as Chairman of the Parents Council for the Atlanta Speech School and continues to volunteer for Atlanta Steeplechase benefiting the Speech School and for Festival of Trees benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Egleston Children's Hospital and Scottish Rite Children's Hospital). Mr. Morgan and his wife, Becky, reside in North Atlanta with two teenage children.
