Norman Mott has practiced law in New Orleans since 1976, representing management and employer interests in labor law, labor relations, civil rights, OSHA, ERISA and other employer-employee relations matters. He currently serves as special counsel to the Louisiana Nursing Home Association and to the Americans with Disabilities Act Consulting Group.He served as Casenote Editor on the Mississippi Law Journal.

Norman has successfully represented employers in over 100 union organizing drives. He has successfully handled both class action and individual employment discrimination suits in federal and state courts, and has worked with large and small employers in developing personnel practices designed to achieve the employer's business goals.

He has served as an instructor for Tulane University, teaching an advanced seminar on labor law for paralegals.

Norman has also published numerous articles on employment law matters including: "Pre-Hire Agreements In The Construction Industry: Void or Enforcement Labor/Management Obligation?," 52 Mississippi Law Journal 705; and "An Analysis Of The Mississippi Criminal Code Under The Equal Rights Amendment," 47 Mississippi Law Journal 279.
