Noor A. Chowdhury brings over 20 years of industry experience to his leadership role at StitelNet. In addition to setting the strategic direction of the company and managing daily operations, Noor also architects and positions StitelNet's next generation packet voice technologies. Prior to StitelNet, Noor was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Cirilium, a VoIP start-up founded in 1999 by Inter-Tel and Hypercom. Noor also held the position of Director and Vice President of Software Engineering for Hypercom Network Systems for more than ten years. While at Hypercom, Noor architected, designed, developed and implemented "HTSP", a patented routing protocol (U.S. Patent No. 6,631,136). Integrated within a multimillion-dollar project, HTSP converged voice and data on a 7,000+ node, global banking network. Noor also held lead engineering and management positions, including five years with ITT/Alcatel in the U.K. and five years with ITT Courier/IDEA Courier in the U.S. He has also spoken at several industry conferences on enterprise networking, voice data convergence networking, network QoS and wireless network technologies. Noor holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Applied Physics. In addition, he holds a post-graduate degree in Computer Engineering from Brunel University in the U.K. Noor is an alumnus of the Executive Management Program, Thunderbird American Graduate School of International Management.
