Mr Kotak has more than 24 years of experience in managing finance, accounting, reporting, investor relations, taxation and information technology functions in various industries and countries. Most recently Nitin was the Vice President of Finance & Accounting for Able Laboratories, Inc., New Jersey, a publicly traded company with a market capitalization of about $ 500 million.
Prior to joining Able, Nitin was the Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary and the Finance Member of the Board of Directors of Mattel Toys (India) Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mattel Inc. Earlier Nitin had served in various businesses of ITC Limited, an associate of British American Tobacco Company of United Kingdom. ITC is a publicly traded diversified multinational organization in India, with a market capitalization of over $ 6 billion and Net Sales of over $ 2 billion. Nitin’s responsibilities during his more than 17 year tenure at ITC included as Financial Controller of the Financial Services subsidiary, of the International Business Division and of the Agri Business Division. His last responsibility was as Executive Vice President of Finance & Corporate Secretary of the Real Estate business of ITC.
Nitin is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, a Fellow Company Secretary and a Fellow Cost & Works Accountant. He has also attended various Management Programs at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Nitin received his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Calcutta. |
