Nishant specializes in performing financial analyses and creating complex financial models. His unique educational training of Management Information Systems and Finance enables him to easily interface with various software systems, testing them for accuracy and manipulating the data for analytical purposes.With Mackinac Partners, Nishant has supported due diligence teams, restructuring projects and preference action cases. His industry experience includes industrial manufacturing, real estate and homebuilding, and paper products. He has been involved in both sell-side and buy-side transactions.Prior to Mackinac Partners, Nishant served as a Financial Analyst with a $100 million leading truss manufacturing company focused on the manufactured housing industry. He played an instrumental role in developing a comprehensive financial reporting portfolio and managed the team responsible for upgrading the Company s software systems. Nishant also served as the corporate liaison to the outlying plants. He was involved in developing various techniques and tools to enhance operational efficiency including a plant-level bonus program which had immediate positive impacts on production efficiency and employee safety. Nishant also worked with a strategic consulting firm where he concentrated on enhancing clients costing models. He also focused on operational improvement plans and analyzing competitive environments.Nishant is a cum laude graduate from Purdue University. He is a member of The Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors and is in the process of becoming a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor. |
