As a Senior Analyst with Strategic Equity Group, Niraj performs financial modeling, conducts industry and economic research, and prepares valuation reports and other investment banking material. Niraj works closely with our Vice Presidents, Manager, and Analysts in the valuation of business enterprises, financial consulting projects including SFAS 141 and 142 compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and ESOP transactions. In addition, he has experience valuing and analyzing preferred equity, options and warrants, and various intangible assets. Prior to joining SEG, he was a Senior Associate with the Economic Advisory Services group of Grant Thornton in San Francisco, California. There he worked on a variety of financial consulting projects including those involving SFAS 141 and 142 compliance, mergers and acquisitions, derivatives analysis, fresh start accounting, and third party reviews. Before he joined Grant Thornton, Niraj founded an enterprise software development firm with an emphasis on corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Proceeding Niraj s software development firm he was an investment banking analyst in the Municipal Securities Group of UBS. Niraj earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, Real Estate, and Law from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
