Nina is a special counsel in the real estate department. Her practice currently focuses on mixed-use, single-family subdivisions, condominium, and shopping center developments. Nina has had a broad-based national real estate practice and has represented borrowers, lenders, and servicers in secured lending transactions, as well as national and regional companies with the acquisition, development, leasing, and sale of real property.
Representative Matters
Representation of national shopping center developers, including all aspects of the acquisition of raw land, acquisition and development financing, construction and permanent financing, detailed analysis of title and survey, and disposition of real estate.
Representation of borrowers and lenders with respect to closings of commercial loans, including conduit loans, defeasance of conduit loans; and with respect to closings of construction loans, in loan amounts ranging up to $100 million secured by hotels, apartments, offices and shopping centers and involving complex borrower structures, such as REITs, historic tax credit investors and land trusts.
Representation of national developers in drafting disposition documents, including contracts for HUD-insured projects, which required compliance with regulatory restrictions.
Representation of a regional book and music retailer, including negotiating retail leases.
