In 1997 Niksa co-founded Dalmex Corporation, a high-tech consulting company whose clients include Ernst & Young, Student Advantage, C-Bridge Internet Solutions, MaxSol and Stax Research. From 1995-1997, he was a project manager for Integrated Computing Engines, where he led a group that developed software for the company s 16- and 64-processor super-computer. While at ICE he also submitted a patent for the Multimedia Manipulator, which was sold to a well-known computer manufacturer and developed into a product that enabled faster Web surfing over conventional dial-up services. Niksa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Brandeis University, in Waltham, Mass., where he studied computer science and economics. He also studied parallel processing at several European universities under a grant from the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship. |
