Sir Nigel joined the Board in February 1996 and was appointed Deputy Chairman on 1 September 2004. He is Non-executive Chairman of Pendragon PLC and BAA Limited. He is also a Non-executive Director of BAE Systems PLC and Sappi Limited. He was formerly Chairman of Alliance Boots PLC, a position he held until June 2007.
He is a member of the Board Corporate Governance and Nominations Committee and also chairs the Group’s Brand and Reputation Committee.
