Nigel Brown has spent 22 years in the IT sector and joins Embarcadero as Vice President and General Manager International, responsible for the company's international operations in Europe and Asia, including sales, marketing, support, and services. He comes to Embarcadero after more than 10 years at Borland where he headed up the Developer Tools business (Code Gear) in 2006. Prior to that, he was Vice-President-EMEA, growing it to be Borland's largest and most successful region in 2000-2004. Before joining Borland, he was International Vice-President at Uniplex for six years, joining from Lotus where he held positions as UK Corporate Sales Director and International Marketing Director over a five year period. Nigel has a BSc Honours degree in Management Sciences and a Diploma in Industrial Studies from Loughborough University UK, along with a Diploma in Marketing from the UK Institute of Marketing.
