Dr. Nien-Tsu Shen, 52, is vice president of quality for Skyworks Solutions, Inc. She joined the company as part of Conexant Systems’ wireless business, which was merged with Alpha Industries in June 2002 to create Skyworks. Prior to Conexant, she worked for National Semiconductor as a director in the quality organization responsible for reliability, failure analysis, manufacturing quality, and Q&R support for the Analog Products division. She has also served as vice president of quality at MicroModule Systems.
Shen earned a bachelor’s in mathematics from National Taiwan University in Taipei, a master’s in mathematics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and a doctor of philosophy in mathematics from Purdue University. |
