Nicky Oppenheimer 61, joined the Board on 18 March 1999. He is a member of the Nomination Committee. He joined the Group in 1968 and subsequently became an executive director and a deputy chairman of Anglo American South Africa. He became deputy chairman of De Beers Consolidated Mines in 1985 and has been chairman of De Beers since 1998. Nicky Oppenheimer is being proposed for re-election at the AGM in April. |
