Nick Visser serves as Executive Vice President in the firm’s Washington, DC office. Prior to joining DHR, he had a successful career in the telecommunications industry working for a number of public and private companies. During his business career, he was involved in sales, general and executive management focused on revenue, profit growth and customer satisfaction. Mr. Visser started his career with a regional distributor of voice processing systems in the Mid-Atlantic area. In 1980, the company was sold to Rolm Corporation and he became Vice President and General Manager for the Mid-Atlantic. After growing Rolm’s business in the area, Mr. Visser was recruited to become President of a leading distributor of telecom equipment. In 1986, the company was sold to its major supplier and he became Vice President and General Manager of the $200 MM direct sales division of Executone Information Systems, a leading manufacturer of voice processing and healthcare communications systems. Having spent most of his business career in general and senior management positions, Mr. Visser is using his experience in building organizations, change management, and working with investment bankers and boards of directors to help companies define and fill their senior management requirements. Mr. Visser studied Liberal Arts at the University of Virginia and has a BS in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University. He has served on the boards of Jarvis Corporation and the North American Telecommunications Association. Mr. Visser is married with three daughters.
