Nick joined FirstMerit’s Akron Region as an AVP of Commercial Loans in March 1992 and was promoted to Vice President in December 1992. Nick became Team Leader in 1995 and was promoted to Sr. Vice President in 1999. In December of 2002, he was promoted to Senior Lender and Manager of Corporate Banking for the Akron Region, and in November, 2003 he was promoted to President/CEO of the Akron Region. Prior to FirstMerit, Nick was with Ameritrust as a Commercial Lender.
Nick has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Marketing from the Univer-sity of South Carolina and earned his MBA from Kent State University.
Nick serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for United Disability Services, board member of the Rotary Club of Akron, board member of the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce, board member of Summa Hospital, and board member of Greenleaf Family Center. |
