Pro Career:
Drafted by the Cardinals in the sixth-round (167th overall) of the 2004 Draft, Leckey saw action in every game of his rookie season of 2004 on special teams. Played 14 games with nine starts in 2005 and 14 games with 11 starts in 2006.
2006: Assumed the starting center position in week six and appeared in 14 games with 11 starts recorded his first start of the season when he took over the center spot from Alex Stepanovich for the Monday Night contest vs. Chi (10/16) starting his eighth consecutive game at center, helped Edgerrin James to his second consecutive 115-yard rushing performance and was part of a line that did not allow a quarterback sack vs. Sea (12/10) @ SF (12/24), was part of an offensive line that led James to 105 yards rushing, becoming the first Cardinals RB to rush for over 1,000 yards in a season since Adrian Murrell in 1998 finished the season with his 11th consecutive start at center @ SD (12/31).
2005: Saw action in 14 games with nine starts deactivated for the season opener @ NYG (9/11) and vs. StL (9/28) due to an ankle injury saw his first action of the season @ Sea (9/25) and appeared on special teams in each of the next three games made first career start at center vs. Sea (11/6) due to an injury to Alex Stepanovich continued to start at center @ Det (11/13) and anchored an offensive line that did not allow a sack part of an offensive line that allowed only one sack @ StL (11/20) overall started in each of the last nine games at center recovered a Josh McCown fumble on the Colts two-yard line to keep the final drive of the game alive @ Ind (1/1).

College:
Former offensive guard quickly established himself as one of the top centers in college football after shifting to that position as a senior at Kansas State started 41 consecutive games from midway through his freshman season holds the distinction of never allowing a quarterback sack in any game that he started in his senior season was named first team all-America selection by ESPN and Sports Illustrated consensus all-Big Twelve Conference first-team pick named Kansas State’s offensive lineman-of-the-year as a senior in 2003.
