In January 2001, Nick Proud joined Assured Guaranty (UK) Ltd., the Company’s London-based direct financial guaranty subsidiary. Mr. Proud serves as Managing Director, Structured Finance and is responsible for the European CDO, Structured Credit, and Mortgage and Asset Backed Securities business areas.
Mr. Proud has over 18 years experience in the European structured finance business with a specialisation in residential mortgages and structured credit. Prior to joining Assured Guaranty he held senior credit positions at a number of leading international insurers and intermediaries including QBE and Special Risk Services.
