With over 20 years of broad-based experience in employee relations training compensation/benefits design and administration Mr. Shanahan joined Akorn in 2000 as the company’s first Human Resources executive.
Mr. Shanahan has supported substantial business units including both headquarters and operating groups and he has led plant start-up teams.
Prior to joining Akorn he has held progressively responsible management positions in the Human Resources field including: Manager Human Resources at Qualex Inc a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak where he supported 25 high-volume technology-based photo-finishing plants 4000 employees and $600 million in sales.
Additionally Mr. Shanahan held several positions with Emery Worldwide Inc a subsidiary of CNF Inc. where he supported US and Canadian operations with 1500 employees and $400 million in sales. At Emery Mr. Shanahan developed and implemented manpower planning and management training programs on a corporate level. |
