Experience:
Mr. Williams has over 20 years experience in real estate and real estate lending matters representing clients in a wide array of real estate and commercial transactions. These clients have included domestic and foreign commercial banks, insurance companies, savings and loan associations and other financial institutions in all aspects of real estate financings, including permanent mortgage loans, construction loans, revolving credit facilities, mezzanine financings, loan syndications and participations, standby and direct pay letter-of-credit facilities, interest rate hedge products, commercial loan facilities, industrial development bond financings, tax credit financings and government guaranteed loans.
Mr. Williams also has been active in negotiating and structuring all types of real estate conveyances including the sale of fee and leasehold interests in commercial properties, sale-leaseback transactions, tax free exchanges, bank branch sales, bulk sales of distressed loans and foreclosed properties, commercial leases and the handling of the real estate component of corporate asset sales and purchases.
