Neil Macmillan joined BMO in 1977 in Toronto. After working in Commercial and Industrial Account Management for a year he held various positions in Project Finance before his initial executive appointment as Vice-President Project Finance and Head of Project Finance in 1983. Since then he has been Senior Vice-President and Head of Correspondent Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions; Senior Vice-President and Head of Credit Corporate and Government Banking. He was appointed Executive Vice-President Risk Management Policy in July 1991 and Executive Vice-President Asset Portfolio Management in November 1 1997.
Prior to joining BMO Mr. Macmillan worked for N.C.C.M. Ltd. in Zambia from 1969 to 1973 and from 1974 to 1977 worked as an account manager for I.C.F.C. Ltd. in Edinburgh.
Mr. Macmillan graduated with a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh in 1969 and in 1974 he received his M.B.A. (Finance) from the Cranfield School of Management. |
