Naveen Nataraj is a Managing Director of the firm’s corporate advisory business.
At Evercore, Mr. Nataraj has focused on technology, telecom and media clients, advising AT&T in its acquisition of Bellsouth, Scientific Atlanta in its sale to Cisco Systems, Intellisync in its sale to Nokia, NTL in its acquisition of Telewest, Avaya in its acquisition of Tenovis, Flarion Technologies in its sale to QUALCOMM, Warburg Pincus and Providence Equity in their acquisition of Telcordia, Insight Communications in its sale to the Carlyle Group, Computer Associates, IBM, Amdocs, Dow Jones and Von Holtzbrink, among others.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Nataraj was a Founding Partner of Saturn Venture Partners, a $280 million venture capital fund focused on the communications and enterprise networking and software sectors formed in conjunction with Telecom Italia. Inc. Prior to Saturn, Mr. Nataraj was a Vice President at Sandler Capital, a $2.5 billion communications focused money management firm where he was responsible for principal investing in growth equity and venture capital opportunities. Previously, Mr. Nataraj was a Financial Analyst in the Global Telecommunications and Technology Group at Bear, Stearns and Co. Inc. where he executed a large number of equity and debt financings and M&A for companies including Verizon, Intermedia, Globalstar, XM Radio, among others.
Mr. Nataraj serves on the University of Rochester Board of Trustees’ Alumni Council and chairs several committees. He is also a co-founder and Board member of RadioSpire, Inc. He graduated from the University of Rochester summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Economics and Applied Mathematics. |
