Nathan is an associate of the law firm of Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty. His practice is focused in the areas of general corporate law, real estate law, and litigation. Nathan began his career at the firm in 2002.
The Dover native attained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law, where he was Valedictorian of his class, and was a member of the Law Review where he authored “Overgeneralization of the Hot Pursuit Doctrine Provides Another Blow to the Fourth Amendment in Middletown v. Flinchum.” (37 Akron L. Rev. 509). Nathan has a B.S. Degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University, where he graduated with honors and distinction. Also, Nathan is a past recipient of the Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A., Law Student Scholarship. In addition, he is a member of the Ohio State, Stark County and Tuscarawas County Bar Associations.
Nathan is actively involved in the Tuscarawas area community where he has served on the YMCA Board of Directors (2006-present), the YMCA Finance Committee (2005-2006), the YMCA Executive Committee (2006-present), the YMCA Board Development Committee (2007), the YMCA Board of Trustees (2008), Secretary for the Board of Trustees (2008) and he currently is serving as Board President. Nathan also played a major role in the Renew the YMCA Campaign where he served as a team leader in the Community Gifts Campaign.
Nathan also serves as a committee member for the Young Professionals Network of Tuscarawas Valley (2005-2006) which he assisted the Tuscarawas Chamber of Commerce in founding. In addition, he is a past chair of the Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce Governance Committee for Re-accreditation (2006). He has served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Ohio (2005 and 2006). Nathan also has been distinguished as a Top Business Leader Under 40 by the Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce (2007). He is a frequent contributing author for the Times Reporter newspaper in New Philadelphia.
Nathan is actively involved in the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dover, Ohio where he sat on the Young People’s Ministry Board (2005-2006), is currently chairing the Personnel Committee (2006-2007), and serves as Vice President for the church (2006-2007).
