Narayan Venkat has built his expertise in developing and marketing prominent product lines for storage, networking and semiconductor technology leaders. Prior to joining ONStor, Narayan was director of product marketing for Network Appliance, leading product strategy and direction for NetApp's NAS, SAN and storage management solutions - representing over half of the Company's revenues. He was instrumental in establishing Netapp's Open Data Management and DataONTAP API programs.Narayan began his career as an engineer in the Microprocessor Research Labs at Intel Corporation working on various technologies including distributed systems, compilers and operating systems. He was later responsible for product management of Intel's Itanium microprocessor.Over the past two decades Narayan also held key engineering and marketing positions at other silicon valley companies including Narus and KLA-Tencor.Narayan holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Utah State and an MBA from University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. |
