A Silicon Valley native, Nancy Kato is one of the region's most experienced Human Resources professionals. As Senior Vice President of Human Resources at TiVo, Nancy is responsible for developing and managing all processes and policies in regard to employee relations, recruiting and hiring, performance assessment and compensation as well as employee and organizational development.
Nancy joins TiVo from Hewlett-Packard, where she served as Vice President of Global Compensation. At HP, Nancy developed strategic compensation and planning for the company's 150,000 worldwide employee base. Prior to her role at HP, Nancy was Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Ariba. She has also held senior roles at Compaq and Tandem.
Nancy earned her BS in Health Sciences and MA in Education and Counseling from San Jose State University. In addition, she has served as a guest lecturer at Stanford University and Santa Clara University. She is active in numerous charitable causes for Valley children and the elderly. |
