G. Morgan Browne was Chief Financial Officer of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) from January 2001 until his retirement in December 2003, and was Administrative Director from June 1985 until December 2000. Prior to June 1985, Mr. Browne provided management services to a series of scientifically based companies, individually and as an Associate of Laurent Oppenheim Associates, Industrial Management Consultants. He was Chairman and a Director of Specialty Composites Corporation, Newark, Delaware and Vice President Finance and a Director of Lunn Industries, Inc., Wyandanch, New York. He is presently a Director of Harris & Harris Group, Inc., New York, N.Y. He was a founding Director of the New York Biotechnology Association and is a graduate of Yale University. He has been a Director of the Corporation since March, 1993. |
