Mr. Zisser was appointed Executive Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors in May 1999. He has been President and Chairman of the board of directors of Europe-Israel, a private company which is the controlling shareholder of the Company, since March 1998, and President and Chairman of the board of directors of Control Centers, a private company, which is the parent company of Europe-Israel, since 1983. Europe-Israel and Control Centers are engaged, through their direct and indirect wholly and partially owned subsidiaries and affiliates, in the following core businesses: real estate investment, hotel ownership and management, development and operation of commercial and entertainment malls in Eastern European countries, in venture capital investments and in the hi-tech, medical and bio-technology industries. Control Centers also holds direct interests in property development projects in Israel. In October 2006, Mr. Zisser was also appointed as Executive Chairman of the board of directors of PC. Mr. Zisser is active in charitable organizations. He is a member of the management of the Oranit hostel. |
