Dr. Song spent 6 years as President & CEO of Pantech & Curitel Communications, one of the world’s leaders in handset design and manufacturing. Prior, Dr. Song was Corporate Senior VP at Samsung Electronics. Other positions have included Director of Technology at DSC Communications, Senior Researcher at Korea’s Agency for Defense Development, and Assistant Manager at Hyundai Heavy Industries. In 2003, Dr. Song was elected ‘Best CEO of the Year’ by Korean Business Weekly. He received his BS in EE from Seoul National University, MS in EE from Korean Advanced Institute of Science, and his PhD in EE from Stanford University, California. |
