In her role as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, Monique Cormier is responsible for overseeing all activities within NaviSite’s legal department, which includes negotiation of contractual agreements, Securities and Exchange Commission compliance, litigation management, corporate governance and ethics and intellectual property. Ms. Cormier also provides counsel on corporate transactions and is a member of NaviSite’s Sarbanes Oxley Steering Committee. Monique joined NaviSite in August of 2004 as Associate General Counsel, and was promoted to General Counsel in August of 2005. She began her career as a Corporate Associate with Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP in Boston, MA, and has also worked as a Corporate Associate with the New York, NY law firms of Todtman, Nachamie, Spizz & Johns, LLP and Gunderson, Dettmer, Stough, Villeneuve, Franklin, & Hachigian, LLP, where she represented emerging technology companies and leading technology venture capital firms. Ms. Cormier is a member of the Massachusetts and New York Bar Associations. |
