Monica M. Gaudiosi, 45, is senior vice president and general counsel, a position to which she was named in 2007. She is responsible for overseeing all corporate legal and related functions.
Previously she had been senior vice president and associate general counsel. Prior to joining Southern Union in 2005, she was strategic transaction counsel for GE Commercial Finance, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Also at GE, Gaudiosi served as general counsel of the vendor financial services commercial equipment leasing division. Prior to joining GE in 1997, Gaudiosi was in private practice in Atlanta, Ga.
Gaudiosi earned a doctorate of jurisprudence cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988 and a bachelor of arts degree summa cum laude, also from the University of Pennsylvania, in 1984.
She resides in Houston.
