Serving as SMART's Vice President and General Manager of Asia since 2001 Mohana Krishnan's responsibilities were expanded in 2005 when he became the Vice President of Worldwide Operations.
Mohana first joined SMART in 1999 as the General Manager of the Asia Pacific region where he was responsible for SMART's manufacturing operations in Penang as well as business development in Asia. Previous to SMART Mohana was a part of the management team at Solectron Inc. in Penang. Before that he held a series of advancing positions during a 15 year tenure at Texas Instruments' Malaysia semiconductor division.
With experience ranging across assembly test engineering and operations management Mohana is uniquely well suited to lead SMART's Asia region and oversee worldwide operations. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Brighton Polytechnic in the UK. |
