Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Rahman
Chief Geologist
Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Rahman has 28 years of petroleum exploration experience. He was credited with several high impact oil and gas discoveries during his career. His Geoscience education includes a B.Sc. and an M.S. from Cairo, Egypt and an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from the University of Sheffield, England. He gained his oil and gas experience while working for: Shell Oil, Exxon, Sohio (Standard of Ohio), BP America, BP Plc., and Pennzoil. He held the positions of Senior Geologist; District Geologist; New Ventures Manager; Manager of Geological Technology; Chief Geologist; Exploration Manager, General Manager and Consultant. Mo’s area of technical specialty is the generation and evaluation of oil and gas prospects and the application of geological technologies in the exploration process. He gained his experience while working on numerous and diverse geological settings including: Alaska, Onshore and Offshore the U.S. lower 48, Eurasia, N. Africa and the Middle East. |
