Mitchell S. Steiner M.D. F.A.C.S. Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Steiner age 46 a co-founder of GTx has served as our Chief Executive Officer and Vice-Chairman of our Board of Directors since the Company's inception in September 1997. From 1995 to 2003 Dr. Steiner held numerous academic appointments including Chairman and Professor of Urology Director of Urologic Oncology and Research and the Chair of Excellence in Urologic Oncology at the University of Tennessee. Since 2003 Dr Steiner has continued to serve on the faculty at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Steiner holds a B.A. in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University and an M.D. from the University of Tennessee and performed his surgery and urologic training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. |
