Mitchell Arnold has more than 20 years of experience in increasingly responsible positions in Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining Laureate in September 2005, Mr. Arnold was Director of Accounting for RCN Corporation, a $600 million telecommunications provider of bundled video, high-speed data, and voice services. He was responsible for corporate accounting, continuous evaluation of internal controls, and coordination of annual SOX compliance testing.
Prior to RCN, Mr. Arnold spent sixteen years with TV Guide Magazine, the publishing and distribution division of $900 million Gemstar-TV Guide International, which also owns and operates digital / interactive television and guidance properties. His last position was Director of Accounting. Earlier in his career he served in accounting roles at Keystone Franklin and Paramount Packing Corp. Mr. Arnold earned a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University and an MBA in Finance from Temple University. |
