Milton R. Smith is president of Smith Investments, an investing and consulting firm. He also is one of the founders and the former president and CEO of ThrustMaster, Inc. (NASDAQ TMSR); and a co-founder and the former chairman, president and CEO of Floating Point Systems, Inc. (NYSE FLP). Smith has also served as chairman, president and/or CEO of four other high-technology companies in both hardware and software areas. He has been an officer and/or director of four companies which have gone public. He completed terms as chairman and vice chairman of the Oregon Council of the American Electronics Association (AEA) and as a member of the national board of directors of AEA. He has previously been a member of the boards of 11 other high-technology companies and of four other non-profit organizations. He is a member of the Oregon State University Engineering Hall of Fame.
