Born on 11/14/1953 he obtained his Law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo PUC/SP and a Business Administration degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas FGV. He has been acting in the financial market for 30 years having worked in national and multinational companies. He worked in the Capital Market area at BBA S/A and Schahin Cury S/A and was Vice Chairman at Citibank S/A. In May 2005 he was elected Chairman of Fundação CESP where he held the position of Investment and Equity Director from 1999 to 2005. He is a member of the Deliberative Council of ABRAPP in which he took part in the National Technical Investment Committee and was a member of the Brazilian Corporate Governance Institute - IBGC. He was a member of the Advisory Council of SELIC Brazilian Securities & Exchange Commission - Comitê de Valores Mobiliários of ANDIMA and of the Private Fixed Income Committee of BOVESPA. On 04/29/2005 he became a member of the Company´s Board of Directors and was a member of the Fiscal Council and Board of Directors in previous management boards |
