Mike has diversified experience with a variety of clients including printing, automotive dealerships, distribution, health care, construction, education, real estate, engineering and architectural services and non-profit organizations. He frequently consults on business matters with closely held businesses and their owners, and has served as a consultant and expert witness for legal counsel with regard to financial issues. He has also served as a Division Controller for the Worldparts Division of Maremont Corporation, an automotive after market supplier. Mike began his public accounting career with the Nashville office of Ernst & Young in 1972.In 1997, Mike received an appointment by Governor Don Sundquist, as one of only nine CPAs in the state of Tennessee, to the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy. Mike was reappointed to the Board for two additional three-year terms and served the Board for a total of nine years, the maximum allowed by law.Education: Mike is a Cum Laude graduate of Memphis State University, with an area of concentration in accounting. He has continued his education through continuing professional education programs offered by various professional groups.Personal/Community:Mike is active in and continues to support many professional and civic organizations, including:?
