Mike McGinn is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in semiconductor and telecommunications marketing, sales and operations management. In his current role, Mike is responsible for Zarlink’s global marketing communications strategies and investor relations programs.
Mike has held a variety of increasingly senior positions with Zarlink Semiconductor and its predecessor, Mitel Corporation, in Canada, the United States and Europe. He assumed responsibility for investor relations in 2000, and was recognized by CIRI (Canadian Investor Relations Institute) for Best Overall Investor Relations in 2003.
Mike is skilled in operations, sales and channel development, and marketing. He was based in the United Kingdom from 1995 to 1999, where he was responsible for software, software development, applications support and customer care. Prior to that, Mike was based in North America and responsible for channel management and support.
Before joining the company, Mike was with the Communication Products Division of IBM. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, and is a member of CIRI.
