Mike Hunter brings more than 28 years of manufacturing and operations management experience to his position as vice president of manufacturing. His duties encompass complete manufacturing responsibility for the four manufacturing sites which include a wafer fab in Hillsboro as well as test and assembly facilities in Penang Manila and Santa Clara. External foundry operations and business planning also report to Hunter.
Before joining IDT Hunter gained international experience as vice president of fab operations for Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd. in Singapore. Prior to that he served as executive vice president of finance and senior vice president of manufacturing at Fujitsu Personal Systems where he managed the worldwide financial and product supply activities for the company including four European subsidiaries. Hunter has also held management positions at POQET Computer Corp. Athens Corp. National Semiconductor Fairchild Semiconductor and Texas Instruments.
Hunter received a bachelor of science degree in operations management from the University of Alabama. |
