Mike Benson has 36 years of experience in all aspects of software development, marketing and distribution. In 1979, after nine years in IBM software development, Mr. Benson joined Applied Communications Inc. (ACI), and held several technical and management positions, including Director of BASE24-atm Development. In 1986, Mr. Benson founded Grapevine Systems, Inc. where he held operating positions, including Vice President of Development and Vice President of Marketing. Following the acquisition of Grapevine Systems in 1998 by ACI's holding company, Transaction Systems Architects, Inc., (TSA) Mr. Benson initiated and directed the acquisition and operation of Workpoint as Vice President, Enterprise Automation for the Insession Technologies Division of TSA. In November 2002, Mr. Benson left this position and founded Blue Sky Mobile Technology LLC, a Microsoft software development company. In September 2006, Mr. Benson teamed with Planet Group, Inc. to acquire the Workpoint BPM Suite from TSA and to establishWorkpoint LLC, a Planet Group, Inc. company. |
