Mike Nichols is a member of the Business Transactions Practice Group in the Springfield, Missouri office of Husch & Eppenberger, LLC. Mike's primary focus is on business and corporate matters, real estate transactions and commercial financing.
Business/Corporate: Mike represents a range of small businesses and large corporations in all phases of their operations including (1) the purchase, sale and mergers of businesses and business assets, (2) entity selection, formation and documentation requirements for all forms of businesses, including corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and limited partnerships, (3) contract drafting, review and negotiation and (4) counseling on daily operations and risk management issues.
Real Estate: Mike represents developers and investors in all phases of real estate acquisition, ownership, development, and disposition. He can assist in the design and creation of real estate entities, property owners associations, subdivision restrictions, easements, acquisition and construction financing, procurement of economic development and tax incentives (TIF, TDD, CID and NID's), and tax free exchanges (including Section 1031 and 1033 exchanges).
Commercial Finance: In conjunction with his business and real estate practices, Mike represents lenders and borrowers in the procurement of acquisition and construction loans, letters of credit, lines of credit, and operating loans.
Dispute Resolution/Litigation: With significant experience in the litigation arena (both business and personal injury litigation), Mike counsels his business and real estate clients in pre-litigation dispute resolution, negotiation and avoidance.
