Mr. De Jong serves as currently CEO BU Europe and CEO BU Asia of ABN AMRO. Mr. De Jong has started his career with ABN AMRO in 1986. After his training in Amsterdam Mr. De Jong has held international positions in Singapore (Financial Markets Corporate Banking) Turkey (Commercial Manager) Hong Kong (Country Manager) and Germany (Country Manager). He became Managing Director in 1996 and Senior Executive Vice President in 2006. Mr. De Jong joined the Management Team of the Wholesale Clients Business Unit in 2005 being responsible for ABN AMRO's international network around the world. When BU Europe was established in 2006 Mr. De Jong became responsible for all Central and Western European Countries. After 9 months Mr. De Jong took over the role of Chief Executive Officer BU Europe and of CEO BU Asia in January 2008. Mr. De Jong holds a master of Law of the University of Amsterdam. |
