Michael Targoff became a director of CPI in January 2004 and Chairman of the board of directors of CPI in March 2004. Mr. Targoff currently serves as Chief Executive Officer, Vice Chairman and director of Loral Space & Communications Ltd. Mr. Targoff is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Michael B. Targoff & Co., a company that sought active or controlling investments in telecommunications and related industry early stage companies. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Targoff was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Loral Space & Communications Ltd. Prior to that, Mr. Targoff served as Senior Vice President and Secretary of Loral Corporation. Mr. Targoff also serves on the board of directors of ViaSat, Inc. and Leap Wireless International, Inc. Mr. Targoff received a B.A. degree from Brown University and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law. |
