Michael Silvershein joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 2007. He serves as a Managing Director specializing in acquisitions, development, and dispositions of real estate portfolios for healthy and distressed companies.
Prior to joining KPMG Corporate Finance, Michael worked as Director at Keen Consultants, Vice President at Reckson Associates Realty Trust, Director of Acquisitions at Auburndale Properties where he was responsible in acquiring in excess of $250 million worth of properties. Michael is also a real estate broker in California, New Jersey and New York. He has 25 years experience in the commercial development industry and specializes in real estate ownership and acquisition. Career achievements include involvement in multi-million dollar acquisition/disposition transactions for industrial, retail, and shopping center assets. Significant leasing transactions include Dun & Bradstreet and MCI WorldCom. Michael was also instrumental in the acquisition and due diligence work for multiple New York office towers and the Tower Realty Portfolio.
