Prior to joining Carnegie Learning, Inc. Johnson spent ten years with Thomson Corporation where he served as President of Thomson Science and Mathematics, Senior Vice President of Strategic Development in charge of Thomson's Higher Education Remediation Strategy, and Vice President & Editorial Director for the Thomson math and science imprint, Brooks/Cole. Before joining Thomson in 1996, Johnson was a Director and Executive Editor for Engineering and Computer Science for McGraw-Hill and, prior to that, was Senior Acquisitions Editor for Mathematics also at McGraw-Hill. Earlier in his career, Johnson was a marketing manager and Acquisitions Editor of Mathematics at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich. |
