Michael Culver is a Senior Consultant with Bridge Associates LLC, joining the firm in 2006. Mr. Culver has over 25 years of experience, both as an investor and as a manager, specializing in aerospace and transportation. His Bridge engagements include:
Interim Chief Operating Officer on the Bridge team assisting an International Aircraft Manufacturer in the operational turnaround of its manufacturing and sales functions.

In addition to this assignment with Bridge, Michael Culver is the co-founder and a principal of First Equity Group Inc (First Equity), a holding company for certain companies owned or controlled by Michael Culver and Aaron Hollander. Mr. Culver is also a co-founder and the former President and Chief Executive Officer of First Aviation Services Inc. (NASD FAVS) (First Aviation), the former owner of National Airmotive Corporation and the owner of Aerospace Products International. Mr. Culver was the First Equity principal primarily responsible for the day to day operations of National Airmotive Corporation and Aerospace Products International, Inc from 1995 to 2006.
First Aviation is located in Westport, Connecticut and its principal operating subsidiary, Aerospace Products International Inc. ( API), based in Memphis, Tennessee, is one of the premier suppliers of products and services worldwide to manufacturers and aircraft operators of some of the most widely used commercial and general aviation aircraft. In addition to its parts and components supply services, API is a leading provider of supply chain management and customized third party logistics services and technology solutions, including inventory management services. API also offers overhaul and repair services for select aircraft components.
Mr. Culver began his career at Canadair Limited (Canadair) in 1981 and gained valuable operating experience in the aerospace industry working at Canadair in various position. He was named Director of Marketing for Canadair’s Challenger business jet in July 1982 and was responsible for that program's marketing strategy until January 1985.
Michael is also Chairman of the Board of Skip Barber Racing School LLC (Skip Barber). Skip Barber, headquartered in Lakeville, Connecticut, is the world’s largest racing and driving school, operating at more than 20 race tracks across the U.S. and Canada. In addition to the Racing School and the Dodge/Skip Barber Driving School, it also owns and operates six prestigious open-wheel racing championships: The Formula Dodge National Championship Presented by RACER, The Masters National Championship and the four Skip Barber Regional Formula Dodge championships (East, West, South and Midwest). Other business units include the Corporate Events department and the innovative OEM Events Group which serves the automotive manufacturers and is active in the emerging youth/tuner/drifting market.
Michael is also Co-President of First Equity Development Inc (First Equity). First Equity, founded in 1985, provides guidance in the growth and development of aerospace and defense companies, and has concluded over $4 billion in transactions. First Equity clients are industry leaders, and more than half of assignments are international. First Equity Development and its former affiliate FED Securities have represented the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Gulfstream, BBA, Atlantic Aviation, Bombardier, Learjet, Fairchild Aircraft, Galaxy Aircraft, Garrett Aviation, Mooney Aircraft, Israeli Aircraft Industries and Elbit among others.
Michael also serves on the board of directors and executive committee of Imtek, Inc. (IMTEK) Imtek provides services to nearly all of the country’s motor clubs including AAA, the nation’s largest. Imtek develops proprietary technology for the printing and fulfillment of maps, invoices and other services. The company has deployed the technology developed for over 100 motor clubs to develop products for the financial services industry, its newest growth area. It has developed systems that integrate automated order entry and variable data with printing, and maintains sophisticated information systems to manage complex and rigorous quality control processes. Imtek also manufacturers Tag-ems - an innovative tool designed to increase catalog sales.
